For added security, passwords for FTP users cannot be directly viewed through Hostropics cPanel. If you're looking to give access to a developer, we recommend adding an FTP account for the developer's individual use. If you have forgoten your password for your FTP account, you can reset your password through cPanel.
Here's how to change your FTP user password.
1) Go to the hostropics.com Client Area by pressing the login button at the top of the page or by visiting https://www.hostropics.com/panel/clientarea.php and log in:

2) Access cPanel in your account
3) From the cPanel, select FTP Accounts under the "Files" tab.

4) Scroll down and you'll see a screen similar to the image below. Under "FTP Accounts", click Change Password next to the user that you would like to edit.
In this example, we are changing the password for john@example.com

5) You will be prompted to select a new password. Once you've entered a new password, click the Change Password button.
You will be asked to enter your new password twice.

Congratulations! You've just changed your password for your FTP account.
