When everything is inside one platform, managing your hosting and domains is much easier, and resolving issues with your website is easier too.
You'll need to take care of a few things before you transfer your domain:
-
At your current domain registrar, disable the registrar lock
-
If your current domain registrar offers privacy protection, turn it off
-
Your current domain registrar should provide you with an EPP code when you request a domain transfer (if applicable)
All of these features are available in the interface of most large web hosting and domain management companies. If you're having trouble completing any of these tasks, contact their support to help you complete these.
As soon as you have completed all three tasks listed above, you should order a transfer through Hostropics. You will need the EPP code from your current domain registrar prior to submitting your payment.
A transfer request email will automatically be sent to the registrant's contact email address once the payment has been completed. Many companies dump all this data into a private address that isn't monitored, which is why it's important to disable privacy protection before you place your transfer order. You must click the verification link that's sent to your emal in order to begin the transfer process.
That's it! Your domain is on its way. In most cases, domains are transferred in within 2 to 4 business days of clicking the verification email.
